As the 50th day of lockdown approaches – a milestone that submariners tell us is an important one – 300 of you answered our survey “What will you change as a result of the Covid-19 crisis?”. The idea was to let you “open up the engine”, to borrow David Abiker’s lovely phrase: to ask yourselves how you were doing at the heart of the crisis, and how your company was doing. So here are the results of this survey… Designed as a stroll through your feelings, your actions and your resolutions.
In a few words:
- You pleasantly surprised yourselves during this period of enforced lockdown! Strong, patient, resilient, action-oriented. And rather optimistic.
- What you missed most was contact – real contact – personally but also professionally. And it was by connecting with others that you “held up”.
- For many of you, tomorrow will bring personal changes. First of all in the balance of your life.
- Most companies and organisations are seen as having reacted rather well in this crisis. But they will have to change many of their practices. Not out of health necessity, but to keep their talent!
